Since 1956, Asphalt Materials, Inc. (AMI), has been dedicated to helping create longer-lasting, safer, more sustainable roads. A core strength of AMI is the formulation, manufacturing, and research & development of asphalt binders and emulsions.  AMI facilities supply high-quality products and services from over 25 facilities across seven states, allowing AMI to excel in pavement preservation techniques and construction services.

Since 1980, our R&D laboratory, the Heritage Research Group, has partnered with AMI to help customers and partners address and tackle the road construction industry’s biggest challenges.

With over 200 employees across more than 20 Indiana-based quarry operations, we have produced crushed stone, sand, gravel, and specialty materials for more than fifty years. Our products are the primary component in road construction, asphalt and ready mix. They are also used for erosion control and agriculture. Our aggregates group creates more than a hundred products engineered for maximum quality, consistency, and sustainability.
