The Brothers Scholarship

The purpose of the Brothers Scholarship Program is to assist the children of Heritage group employees with the cost of higher education and to encourage those students to invest in their future by obtaining a college degree. 

The program awards scholarships of $2,000 to select qualifying dependents of eligible employees of the Heritage Group companies. The scholarships are also renewable for up to three years based on continued satisfactory academic performance and employee eligibility. Brothers Scholarships are also available to previous applicants.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the Brothers Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: 

Age 24 or under

Dependent of a full-time Heritage Group company employee

High school senior, high school graduate, GED holder, or currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university

How are Brothers Scholars selected?

Scholarships are evaluated by Scholarship America, a leading independent administrator of scholarship programs around the country, and are awarded based on consideration of the following criteria.

honors

work experience

statement of goals and aspirations

unusual personal or family circumstances

demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities

The online application can be accessed on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 6am CST at: https://learnmore.scholarsapply.org/brothers. 

Applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11pm CST at in order to be considered for the academic year.

From a young age, Emily Myers has pushed herself hard to achieve. So when she set her heart on attending Bellarmine University, her mom wanted to find a way to make it happen. The Brothers Scholarship certainly helped.
