Scholarship Testimonial

Rebeckah Valdez will graduate nearly debt-free from New Mexico State University next year thanks to the Brothers Scholarship and other financial aid. A Business Administration major with a minor in Marketing and Management, Rebeckah is extremely grateful to be a Brothers Scholar. “Some of the scholarships I received were only for my freshman year. Having this scholarship all four years is allowing me to graduate without the burden of debt so I can focus on starting my career. I wouldn’t be here without this program.” (Pictured with Mom, Dora Cervantes, an Operations Manager for Heritage Interactive Services.)

Erika Cruz, a Biology major at Purdue Northwest University says that knowing that a scholarship provided by her dad’s company is helping her afford college has motivated her to make the most of the experience. “So many kids aren’t able to go to school due to finances. I know how fortunate I am to have this opportunity and I don’t take any of it for granted.” After graduation, Erika plans to pursue a master’s degree and ultimately earn a doctorate to become a physician’s assistant.
