About the Program

THG has partnered with Ascend Indiana and EmployIndy to pilot the Modern Apprenticeship Program (MAP) here in Indiana. Based on a successful model pioneered in Switzerland, the program will develop young minds through work experience and tailored curriculum. Students will begin the three-year program in their junior year of high school, working 10-12 hours per week, a schedule that will gradually increase as they advance. In their third year, the apprentice will work full-time at THG while pursuing a post-secondary degree or professional certificate.
