LEADERSHIP CHANGE FOR HC+M

INDIANAPOLIS — Feb. 1, 2022 — Heritage Construction + Materials (HC+M) announced today the appointment of Geoff Dillon as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Dillon succeeds former CEO Jim Fehsenfeld, who will transition from CEO to the vice chair of HC+M’s board of directors.

Dillon previously served as president of Asphalt Materials, a manufacturer and marketer of asphalt binders and emulsions, and more recently as the president of HC+M.

INDIANAPOLIS – January 7, 2021 – Today, Milestone Contractors, LP announced the merger of three Indiana-based construction companies. Walsh & Kelly Inc based in Griffith, IN and Wabash Valley Asphalt located in Terre Haute, IN, will now be known as Milestone Contractors and be headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.

This consolidation is effective today and will benefit the group by allowing the company’s Indiana construction businesses to better share resources and serve local communities. The same dedication to relationships, quality, and customer service will continue. The personnel, office locations, and asphalt plant locations will remain the same. Asphalt Materials, Inc. Expands Capabilities by Acquiring Three Midwest Terminals

INDIANAPOLIS – November 13, 2020 – Asphalt Materials, Inc. (AMI) announced today that on November 12th it completed the acquisition of three asphalt terminals from a subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corporation. The purchase of these facilities further expands AMI’s capabilities in the Indiana and Illinois markets and its footprint in the Midwest. AMI plans to retain the current leadership team and employees at all three terminals and will continue to invest in and grow the product suite and capabilities at those sites.

Project Manager Ed Wilson of the Indiana Department of Transportation goes to work every day on Indiana’s interstates.

“This is kind of like our office, and we invite people to come out and sit in our office and you’ll see how bad it is at times, the traffic just goes by so fast,” he said.

Wilson said there’s a lot less traffic flowing through his “office” ever since Governor Holcomb ordered Hoosiers to stay home to fight the coronavirus.

“There’s no doubt about that the traffic’s a lot less,” he said. “I would say it’s forty to fifty percent off.”

Indianapolis, IN – October 07, 2019:The Heritage Group welcomes Greg Kelly as chief executive officer of its Heritage Construction & Materials division (HC&M).  Kelly joins The Heritage Group from WSP, a premier global engineering professional services firm based in Canada, where he served as President and CEO of WSP in the USA.

As President and CEO WSP USA, Kelly led a team of close to 10,000 planners, engineers, scientists, and construction and program managers shaping today’s communities. His teams planned, designed and managed construction of major infrastructure projects across the US and around the globe for some of the world’s largest companies, utilities and governments.

Kelly’s career includes several designations and leadership roles in the infrastructure industry, including election to the National Academy of Construction, The Moles, and as a member of the Construction & Industry Round Table.  He is passionate about the future of infrastructure and the impact it has in building communities worldwide.

US Aggregates Acquires North American Limestone Company

US Aggregates expands its aggregates footprint and fine grind capabilities by acquiring NALC and a controlling interest in Midwest calcium carbonates.

US Aggregates announced today it has acquired North American Limestone Company (NALC)’s operations based near Cloverdale, IN. The acquisition includes NALC’s two quarry locations, 243 and Deer Creek, as well as their interest in a Fine Grind business currently operating under Midwest Calcium Carbonates (MCC). The acquisition allows US Aggregates to expand its Indiana aggregates footprint and add additional Fine Grind processing capabilities.
